What It’s All About

Want to not only attend but be involved in Halifax WordCamp preparation and during the big day? Become a volunteer and help us make it the best ever! There are many ways you can give us a hand. And as a volunteer, you get a free ticket to WordCamp Halifax and become part of the WordPress Halifax growing community.

Volunteer activities include:

  • Setup – Your role is to help set up signage and ensure that the registration table is prepared for registration first thing in the morning.
  • Registration desk – You will greet the attendees, help with the registration, answer some general questions about the event and get all the smiles from everyone for the awesome swag bags everyone gets during registration.
  • Speaker and Ausio / Visual helper – You will help guest speakers prepare for their talk and make sure that the video camera is recording at all times.
  • Happiness Bar – This is the place where WordPress experts help out and answer questions. As helping out is a rewarding activity by its own, volunteers at Happiness Bar do not get free attendance.

If you are interested in volunteering at WordCamp Halifax 2017 please first read over the conditions of participating and then complete the volunteer application form found at the link below.
