WordCamps are casual, volunteer organized conferences that focus on WordPress. Each WordCamp is a bit different, but all share a similar goal: to provide an accessible opportunity for people to come together and discuss WordPress, learn from each other, network and have a great time doing it!
A successful WordCamp depends on volunteers.
Event Date
Saturday, May 27 will prove to be a day of learning and community. With three informative tracks from 8:00am to 5:00pm. 45 minute sessions in three key areas will be available. See our schedule for more information.
Venue
We’re excited to be holding three informative tracks at the Marion McCain Arts and Science Building, Dalhousie University. Detailed venue information can be found here.
Price
Tickets are $25 per person, which includes lunch, snacks and an afterparty with… more snacks!
Naturally, all-day coffee will be provided. Lunch will be served for WordCamp Halifax 2017 attendees and is included in the ticket price! Converse with fellow goers in the building’s lobby or outside in the private courtyard while you munch.

- Content Creators, who want to learn how to publish content on a WordPress site
- Site Creators, who want to learn more complex tasks but aren’t designers or developers

Happiness Bar
The Happiness Bar is a special activity at WordCamp where local and visiting WordPress experts offer complimentary help and advice to attendees who come to the Bar with questions.

WordCamp Halifax originates with The WordPress Halifax Meetup. WordPress enthusiasts get together once a month to hear a presentation about WordPress, share information and resources, and have a bit of fun. Join us. Everyone is welcome!
